Aug. 07: The centre for Inter Faith and Spirituality is launched by Imam Mohammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye from Nigeria

The Imam and the Pastor spoke of the importance of centres such as ours as a way of encouraging respect among people of all faiths and a witness to peace in our world

Jan. 08 :  organising a visit to the Stirling Mosque where Bishop David Chillingworth met Imam Arif 

Autumn 07: 5 week course on the basic teachings of Islam with an evening dedicated to meeting Na’eem Raza from Meem Consultancy who shared his experience of what living as a Muslim is like in Scotland today 

March 08: Lenten course relating the journey of Jesus to Jerusalem with our own human journey.

 

"Congratulations for a very thought-provoking series of workshops for Lent.  I feel that you both opened windows for us all that allow much more fresh air in on thinking about "the journey".

April 08:  Dr Maureen Sier leads a day on the Baha’i  faith  organised by the Churches Agency for Inter Faith Relations in Scotland

April 08: Dominic and Isabel lead a day for Franciscan Tertiaries in Perth. 

 

The day focussed on Islam.

September 08: A seminar organised by the East Area Council of St Andrew’s Episcopal Diocese and led by Dominic and Isabel

October 08:  A series of five evenings exploring Buddhism led by Dominic and Isabel  followed by a trip to Samye Ling Tibetan  Buddhist Monastery in Dumfriesshire
